1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Text Extractor Pro Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Text Extractor Pro is a Chrome extension that provides AI-powered text extraction, translation, and processing capabilities. The Service allows users to:

• Extract text from images and screenshots
• Translate extracted text to multiple languages
• Summarize and process text using artificial intelligence
• Apply custom processing commands to text content

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access premium features, you may be required to create an account using Firebase Authentication. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes 1,000 AI requests per month with basic features. Usage limits reset monthly.

4.2 Premium Plans

Premium subscriptions provide unlimited AI requests and additional features. Billing is processed through Paddle, our payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to their terms of service.

4.3 Billing and Payments

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders
• All payments are processed securely by Paddle in compliance with PCI DSS standards
• Paddle handles all payment processing, tax calculation, and compliance requirements
• You will receive purchase confirmations and receipts directly from Paddle
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Applicable taxes will be calculated and collected by Paddle based on your location

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain premium access until that time.

Refund requests are processed according to Paddle's refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws. EU consumers have the right to cancel their subscription within 14 days of purchase. For refund requests, please contact our support team or refer to our detailed Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Process illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without permission
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
• Use the Service for automated or bulk processing beyond reasonable personal use
• Share account credentials or circumvent usage limits
• Process sensitive personal information of others without consent

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.2 Usage Analytics

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9.3 AI Processing Accuracy

AI-generated results may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users should verify important information and not rely solely on AI-processed content for critical decisions.

10. Chrome Web Store Compliance

This extension complies with Google Chrome Web Store policies. Any violations should be reported through the Chrome Web Store's reporting mechanism or directly to our support team.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Text Extractor Pro from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
